Trevor Garner makes the case in The Washington Informer for urgent local business action

Our president Trevor Garner wrote a commentary for The Washington Informer on why a company doesn’t need to be gigantic to make a big impact in its community. It focuses on the importance of making sure the communities where we work are strong, and how that benefits all constituents. It talks about the importance of philanthropy but equally the importance of not relying solely on philanthropic efforts and ensuring we fix systems that are leaving people exposed. He highlights some of the work IdeaCrew has done in relieving $12.3 million in medical debt for D.C. residents, supporting food banks during the government shutdown last fall, and work we have done in the young adult cancer and Alzheimer’s communities over the past 12 months.

“we are only as strong as the communities we work in”

— Trevor Garner, writing in The Washington Informer
